The last breath

Is it love or is it the tragic story about Titanic that connects with the hearts of men. For the millenniums who may not know about this, it is the greatest and the deadliest sea voyage to ever happen on Mediterranean. But no one knows tomorrow and everyone has his fate coming. You can choose the clothes the shoes you want to wear but you cannot choose how you want to die because if you do the answer is simplesimple. "Commit suicide." It is the early 1990 when the fateful tragic occurred and some of us in African I bet they were asking what is a Titanic and others who lived in sub sahara dry areas I bet they were asking what is a ship how does it look like. It is to that conclusion that lead me to say that there were Africans in the mighty Titanic. Not just Africans but black Africans because today there are white Africans. They were not there to have a good time like the rest of the people but they were taken as captives in chains from Africa to go and serve their new masters. It is true to say thethey were not eating the same food as their masters. It is also true to say they were not sleeping in the same rooms with their masters but it is true to say they were lock in those dark rooms near the cargo area. And if they ever saw and felt the sun light on their skin it is either there was too much work that had to be do. But on that tragic night when the ship hit an ice berg and submerged in water I bet they did not know what happened and the only hope they had of any rescue, it was to accept their fate and die in peace. But I know they did not just die without trying to do somethingsomething. One thing am sure they did is that they sang not one but many songs that night with their native language looking at each other straight in the eye as they inhaled their last breath......................
